Community Safety & Parish Council Support

At Section 23 Ltd, we work in partnership with parish councils to help maintain safe, welcoming public spaces for residents and visitors.

Our services are designed to support councils in managing parks, monitoring community areas, and responding to local concerns such as vandalism, fly tipping, and anti-social behaviour.

By combining professional security practices with a community-focused approach, we help parish councils reduce risks while providing visible reassurance to local communities.

Park Gate Management

Many parish councils require support ensuring that parks remain secure outside of opening hours.

Section 23 Ltd assists with scheduled park gate closures and inspections, helping to protect community spaces and reduce the risk of vandalism or anti-social behaviour.

Our officers can:

  • Lock and unlock park gates at agreed times
  • Ensure parks are clear prior to closure
  • Inspect gates and access points for damage
  • Report faults or concerns directly to the parish council

Scheduled Community Patrols

We provide scheduled patrols agreed directly with the parish council, ensuring security presence at the times and locations where it is most beneficial.

Patrol services may include:

  • Foot patrols within parks and public spaces
  • Vehicle patrols covering wider parish areas
  • Evening and night patrols where additional reassurance is required
  • Monitoring of known problem locations

A consistent and visible presence helps deter vandalism and anti-social behaviour while reassuring residents that community spaces are being actively monitored.

Community Engagement

Effective community safety relies on communication and trust.

While on patrol, our officers engage respectfully with residents and members of the public.

This allows us to:

  • Listen to concerns raised by the community
  • Provide reassurance in areas experiencing problems
  • Report anti-social behaviour or incidents where appropriate
  • Share relevant information with parish councils or local authorities

This approach helps strengthen the relationship between local communities and those responsible for maintaining safe public spaces.

Identifying and Managing Local Risks

Regular patrols allow our officers to identify potential risks early and report them quickly.

Examples of issues we help identify include:

  • Vandalism hotspots
  • Unsafe or damaged access points
  • Suspicious activity
  • Fly tipping
  • Areas experiencing anti-social behaviour

Early identification enables parish councils to respond promptly and prevent small issues from escalating.

Parish councils require security partners who understand the needs of community spaces, public parks, and local residents.

Section 23 Ltd provides a professional and reliable service built on:

  • Visible deterrence through regular patrols
  • Professional officers trained to work respectfully with the public
  • Flexible patrol schedules tailored to parish requirements
  • Clear reporting of issues identified during patrols
  • Proactive identification of local risks

Our goal is to support parish councils in maintaining safe environments while helping to reduce the impact of vandalism and anti-social behaviour.

Working with Section 23 Ltd is straightforward and flexible.
